FITZROY V. HAWERA. Six rinks of Fitzroy howlers visited Hawera yesterday, and had a most enjoyable day's play against the local club, being most hospitably entertained and shown every courtesy and attention, while the green was in excellent condiion. The visitors were defeated by 33 in the morning, and 37 in the afternoon. Details of the play (Fitzroy being mentioned first at each rink), are as follow: MORNING MATCH. New Plymouth 'bowlers had an enjoyable day at Inglewood yesterday, being most hospitably entertained. In the morning they won a keenly contested match by 7 points, and in the afternoon were defeated by a similar number of points, so that on the day's play the honars were even. St. John's (Wangainii), plays Fitzroy tli is morning, and New Plymeuth in the afternoon.
