. .. - MR. ASSUITH'S VISIT. 2 PARTING MESSAGE. Received 'April 6, 8.35 p.m. Paris, pril 5. Mr. Asquith, on leaving Rome, sent a message to the Italian people, paying tribute to the incomparable bravery and tenacity of the army, that was struggling against almost insurmountable difficulties. He declared that he was more than ever convinced of tlie certainty of victory. Mr. Asquith and M.M. Ribot and Briand held a council of war aboard a special train.
