WAITARA.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) Waitara, Saturday. The s.s. Kumara completed her shipment in the Roadstead this morning, and sailed for Wanganui at 7 o'clock. Her cargo consisted of 7009 quarters beef, 100 casks tallow, 3S casks oleo, 260 sacks casings, and two boxes fiddle strings. The farewell social given in the Clifton Hall last evening to those leaving on Monday morning, the 3rd inst. to join the 13th Reinforcements was largely attended, a very enjoyable evening being spent.
