FIGHTING AT GORIZIA. SANGUINARY CHARGES. Rome, March 23. A communique says: There was fierce and desperate fighting for '4B hours north-west of Gorizia. The enemy on the 26th concentrated intense artillery fire on our trenches at Grafenberg and launched very silent attacks to which our centre yielded. We counter-attacked next evening, and recaptured the position after repeated sanguinary charges. GERMAN VESSELS REQUISITIONED. Received March 30, 8.55 p.m. London, Marcli .9. In the House of Commons, Lord Robert Cecil announced that Italy had requisitioned German vessels interned in Italian ports.
