Evidence of the complete unity of tiic Allies was afforded by the fact that the schemes which the anilitary authorities had elaborated to the fullest detail during recent months were considered and ratified in a few hours. Mi*. Ascpiith and Lord Kitchener are accompanying the Italian delegates to Rome, ECONOMIC ACTION. IMPORTANT RESOLUTIONS. Received March 29, 11.15 p.m. Paris, March 29. The conference unanimously affirmed measures to realise the unity of military, economic, and diplomatic action, and instructed the Economic Conference to co-ordinate in economic action to prevent supplies reaching the enemy. A permanent committee was' established in Paris, on which all the Allies are represented. • > The conference also resolved on common action to secure the equitable distribution of maritime transport burdens and to check the rise in freights. PARLIAMENTARY CONFERENCE. ' ALL THE ALLIES TO BE REPRESENTED. London, March 28.
The International 'Parliamentary Conference will meet at the French Senate House on April 27. The conference will last four days, and all the Allies will he represented. Japan will send seven members of Parliament. The agenda paper includes commercial relations, compensation for war damages, reduced postal rates, in international patents office, and c.:i international clearing house.
