ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A CYCLIST KILLED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hastings, March 28. Charles Martin, land agent, aged 70 years, was cycling in Heretaunga Street last night when he swerved across the road, and was knocked over by a motor cyclist, who did everything possible to avoid a collision. Martin died this morning as the result of his injuries. He was for many years a resident of Eltham, vhere at one time he held the joint position of statioiimaster and postmaster, 6UDDEN DEATH. Rotorua, March 2S. Thomas McKeown, aged 40, a single man, was found dead in his cottage last night. He was formerly a jockey. Heart disease is supposed to have been the cause.
