He attacks "hyphenBled Americanism" and national emasculation, and licenses the President of failure to stand up for the Belgians, avenge the Lusi'tania, and punish the Mexican outrages. . Mr. Roosevelt charges the German-Americans with opposing America's defence programme, thus wanting in turn a larger Belgium which would he an easy prey whenever Germany desires to seize it.
