AFTER FIVE DAYS' DELAY.
MAORI RESUMES RUNNING. By Telegrapn.—Press Association. Wellington, Yesterday. After being detained at Wellington since last Friday, the Union Company's turbine steamer Maori left for Lyttelton at lier usual time, 7.50 o'clock, last evening. The vacancies caused through eleven firemen and five trimmers giving notice, and leaving the vessel last Friday, hae been gradually filled, until last evening the vessel was only one man short of her full complement. That difficulty, however, was overcome by some of the men arranging to do extra work to make up the deficiency in one watch. The Pateena, which has been acting as a substitute for the Maori, re-entered her usual service and sailed at 0 o'clock last night for Nelson. The Mapourika, which has been taking, the Patcena's running, sailed in her customary trade yesterday, leaving here at 2 p.m. for Greymouth via ports.
