On Wednesday, at Eltham yards, there was a' good muster ;of both 'cattle and sheep. Buyers were in attendance and a good clearance was made, and prices were the same as those of late sales. We quote: Fat cows (small) £S 10s to £9 2s. fresh-conditioned cows £8 to £8 9s, forward cows £7 5s to £7 18s, store cows £0 to £", boners £4 to' £5 10s, bulls £5 10s to £l2 ss, 15-months steers .£3 17s, weaner steers £1 19 s to £2 ss, heifers 25s to 355, stove lambs 10s 3d to 14s 2d, ewes 12s 3d, weaner pig B 7s to lis Bd. At Ilawora yards on Thursday, 18th inst., we had a full yarding of cattle. Prices were firmer, anil practically the whole yarding was disposed of. Fat cows £9 10s to £lO 10s, fat heifers £8 10- to£S Ids, fresh-conditioned cows £8 10* to £9, forward cows £7 5s to £8 ss. store cows £(i to £7, boners £3 15s to £5, in-calf heifers £0 5s to £7 3s, 20-months to 2-year-old steers £0 to .Efl 12s, weaner steers £1 12s to £1 18s Bu, heifers 17s to £1 ISs, bulls £5 to £l3. Sheep came forward in full numbers and shpwed no improvement in piioc.
