WELLINGTON WOOLLEN MILLS.
MILITARY CONTRACTS. By Telegraph.—Press Association, Wellington, March 20. With regard to the Wellington Woollen Mills dispute, Mr. Myers, Minister of Munitions, stated to-day that the Wellington Woulkn Company was under an obligation to supply a large quantity of cloth, etc., for military purposes, for delivery monthly. The directors had informed him that they could carry out tin? contract for March, and, until they failed to do so, he could not take action. In regard to the future obligation resting on his shoulders to see that the cloth was delivered it would necessi r tate action being taken in due course. A meeting of mill-owners will be held to-morrow in Wellington, and he trusted satisfactory arrangements would be arrived at to enable military supplies to be duly delivered up to the end of the year in accordance with contracts.
