Considerable interest was attached to the plajr, in consequence of the selector bavin? materially altered the constitution of the Fitzroy rinks in their usual order of play, three customary skips being placed in the lead. Messrs Healy and,S. Smith, who were, at tiie head of their respective sections in the Fitzroy Club's aingles competition, played off tha final yesterday afternoon, and though Healy had the best of tlio game till towards the close, Smith finished up well and won the championship, by 2S to 24. WEST END v. STRATFORD. West End visited Stratford yesterday afternoon, and after an enjoyable- game were defeated by 115 to 80, The teami were as follows, West End being mentioned first:— G.
