LIFE-SAVING CLUB.
TABOR SHIELD COMPETITION. A meeting of the New Plymouth Life Saving; Chili was lipid in the Town Hall last night, Mr. D. J. Hughe* presiding. After some discussion it was definitely decided to hold the Tabor Shield competition on the Xgamotu beach next Thursday. March io, the competition to stiu't at 3 p.m. .Entries will close with the secretary on Tuesday night. Messrs Schwartz anil Gilbert were appointed examiners for the bronze medallion competition, to be held on 20tli at !> a.m. For the two squads from the Hoys' High School' for the bronze medallion competition, Mr. .T. Stolir and Mr. Ohristenson were appointed examiners. For Miss Stanford's Chetwode School girls, Mise 1". White and Mr. Schwartz were appointed examiners.
