Mrs. Jas. Bruce, Master Alec aod Misses (.(race and Lily Bruce, left by the Moana yesterday for America, when they will be joined by Mr.' Bruce. A Sydney cablegram says that Set? geant Victor H. Mercer, a New Zealaoder died at Bowral Hospital after ten day*' illness. He participated iu the landing at Gallipoli, and was wounded and invalided. Recently he acted as recruiting sergeant.
