FETE OF NATIONS.
NEW PROGRAMME TO-NIGHT-The second performance of the Fett of Nations at the Theatre Royal last night was witnessed by a large audience, who expressed their thorough enjoyment fff the entertainment by frequent »nd geju-r----ous applause. The programme was practically similar to that of the first night, and the solo work maintained a high standard, while the concerted items showed a distinct improvement.- The suggestion to eliminate the kinematofivnph film was adopted, and the entertainment was thereby improved. During a solo by Mrs. Birch-Johnston a clever dance was introduced by Miss Pcllew and Mr, \Y, Lints, and it was much appreciated. The lighting effects were very good, and the whole programme was carried through without a hitch. The takings at the theatre on the first :iiight amounted to £42 Is fid. and last night they were £2l 12s Gil. In addition the performers have sold tickets to the value of about £ls. There will be a matinee this aftcrnoen, nrd a change of programme will be pre--i i. ted to-night.
