COST OF LIVING DISCUSSED BY WELLINGTON BRANCH. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Yesterday. A meeting of the Wellington branch of the Railway Servants' Association was held yesterday and the cost of living was discussed, A resolution was passed that the Government had not seriously dealt with the question, but was allowing exploiters a free and unrestricted opportunity to amass wealth while (lie pick of the manhood of the Dominion were fighting and sacrificing their lives. Leaving their families to the niercv of (lie exploiters was an everlasting disgrace to the Government. A maximum price should lie fixed for all necessaries of life and any objector's business should be taken over and run as a Government concern. The branch strongly supports compulsory service end compulsory production of the necessaries of life at a reasonable profit.
