HAWERA V. WAVEBXEY. In a four rink match at Hawcra on Saturday, a closely contested game ended in the defeat of the visitors by seven points. ELTIIAM "FERNS" COMPETITION. On Thursday, at Eltham'.'the holders of the "Ferns," Messrs Carman and McKay, were defeated by Stanners and [Murray. On the 21st. head the teams %ied and had to play off, Mr Murray's last bowl lying the shot, thus putting his team one point ahead of their opponents. STRATFORD V. ELTHAM. Last Saturday afternoon, three rinks from Stratford played "a rtiatch against the Eltham Club on the latter's green. After a most enjoyable game, Eltham proved the winners by the narrow margin of two points, the total scores being Eltham 02, Stratfard (14. Scores were as follow, Stratford being mentioned first:— Foley, Leversedge, Reeve, ,T. Masters, (s), 19; v. Morse, Straek, Stunners, De Launay (s), 27. Reid, Wood, North, King (s). 22; v. ■Haden.
