Father Manliffe, of St. Mary's Cathedral, who has returned from (lallipoli, denies the oft-repeated story that lie led a charge on Hill GO. He added that it was very good of people to credit him with the achievement, but lie might mention that three doctors and two other chaplains had been awarded a similar distinction. WAR BABIES. Melbourne, Feb. 22. The State Cabinet has decided to introduce legislation to legitinmtise war babies. The Premier stated that the Government was inundated by letters from soldiers at the front asking for the legitimatisation of their children an hour before or after their departure. BIPLANES FOR AUSTRALIA. Sydney, Feb. 23. The two biplanes imported by the Aviation School have arrived. DECENTRALISATION OF CAMPS. Sydney, Fob. 23. The camp decentralisation scheme is proceeding. The Casula camp closes on March !, and new recruits will be sent to country camps. The concentration of Liverpool will also be reduced. The city recruiting depots are closing and enrolling medical officers will make a nightly round of the suburbs to examine recruits. ,
