It Is hoped to arrange with the picture theatre proprietors to receive a donation from their proceeds on Saturdav, while an auction of a French flag will probably be held, Amongst other lli'ugs there will be a novel feature in the form of "a patriotic fish mart." Mr. J. Brough (of Moturoa), and his partner have offered seventy-five per cent, of their catch on Saturday morning, Mr. Smith (Devon Street) will give twentyfive per cent of his* catch, other fishermen will contribute quotas, while private parties will go out fishing in the early hours of Saturday. Mr. Haflrv HelVord has generously offered this use of his motor-car to the amateur fishermen.
