A much greater interest is being taken in the show by farmers throughout the district, with the result that in addition to the usual exhibitors from Taranaki and other districts, there will be many from local exhibitors. In connection with the fat sheep classes, Mr. F. Topliss (of Wailiij offers a special of £."> 5s as a points prize in the registered Shorthorn classes. The general arrangements for the fixture are in a forward state, and all that is required now to ensure a successful show is fine weather, so that town and country people alike can attend in large numbers.
