A RECORD ESTABLISHED By Telegraph.—Press Association. Rotorua, Feb. ID. The Rotorua croquet tournament concluded to-day. Penn (Christchurch) won the Champion Singles, with Mrs. Dilficßr, of Hamilton, second. Penn also won the Break Competition with 122, believed to be a New Zealand record. NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB The third of a series of Red Cross matches uas held at the New Plymouth lawns on Saturday. Mrs. Curtis kindly donated a prize for the highest score. Mrs. Whettcr and Mrs. Clarke tied, and, as it was getting late, they decided to draw. Mrs. Clarke having the luck to draw the prize. Following are the scores (players having four tiirns each); Mrs. Whetter. 27. Mrs. Clarke, 27. Mrs. Courtney, 22 jtfrs. Fookes,*2o. Mrs. Haseler, 20. Mrs. Quilliam, 20. Mrs. Horrocks, iti.
