PUBLIC PROVIDE OVER £60,000. By Telegraph.—Press Association. ■ Wellington, Last Night. The balance-sheet of the Hospital Ship Pound was issued to-day by the Department of Internal Affairs at the' direction of the Governor. It shows that the total amount subscribed by the public for the equipment of the two hospital ships, the Maheno and the Marama, was £tSO,7C6 7s 2d, and the balance still in hand amounts to £14,811 19s Id.
