Sir George Clifford, of Chr!nic!itirc\ is on a visit to New Plymouth. I Captain Torburv, formerly in comin and of the Rarawa, Is on a visit to Xew Plymouth. He is accompanied by Mrs. Norbury. Captain Baric, of the Rarawa, who has been on holiday leave, and waa relieved by Captain Pierroti, has resumed charge of the steamer, Mr. E, W. Alison, of Auckland, arrived in Xew Plymouth by the Rarawa yesterday morning. Mrs. Aiison accompanies him. Mr. T. Hickman, well known in Tar#naki, for many years police constable stationed at Pnngr.rehu and Opunflke, now living, in retirement in Waaganui, is at present on a visit to OpHnake. A cable from Melbourne sets tint the Medina's New Zealand passengers are Messrs Waldock, Blyth, Johnstone, Kelly, Collins, Young, Mesdames Rydon (2), Waluoek, Eiytli, &U*iuu> Browa, aad Vougj,
