SHIPMENT OF MEAT.
THE POSITION SATISFACTORY. (From Our Own Correspondent.) ' Wellington, Feb. 7. Referring to meat shipments, th» Prime Minister stated to-night that during the month of March the available steamers would be able to lift fully a million carcases of mutton. The amount of space available during February was not as great as in February, 1015, but the shortage would he more 'than covered in March. The position from the point of view of shippers appeared to be thoroughly satisfactory,
