TARANAKI AGRICULTURAL SHOW.
Among the most attractive features of the Taranaki Metropolitan Show will be the ring competitions to be held on both days. The prize-money for tho most popular displays of horsemanship is quite equal to that given by the largest societies, in the Dominion, besides which several valuable, cups are offered for competition. It is anticipated that the fields will be large and the competition keen in each of the classes scheduled. The programme for the competitions is arranged to meet the convenience of competitors, and as the jumps have hern re-modelled in favor of huntsmen, the arrangement should meet with the approval of the most fastidious. Entries close definitely on February-10. .Schedules may be obtained on application to the secretary, P.O. box 19, Xew Plymouth.
