MURDERS IN PAPUA.
CONSTABLES KILLED AND WOUNDED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Melbourne, Jon. 27. Mr. Mahon has received particulars of the affray at Papua. The natives attacked the police who were endeavouring to arrest a murderer. One constable was fatally speared and two wounded. The one lemaining police officer gallantly went to hU comrade's assistance. The next day the party attacked Patrol-officc-r Blyth, who shot three.
