Died of gunshot wounds in the abdomen on December 12, at the casualty clearing station at Anzac—Canterbury Battalion: Sergeant A. Tait. Previously reported wounded, now reported died of wounds, as result of Court of Inquiry.—Auckland Battalion: Sergt. E. Drummond. Canterbury Battalion: Corporal C. H. Ballantyne. Drowned in Weymouth Harbor, England.—Otago Battalion: Private F, Reidy. Died of pneumonia.—Auckland Mounted Rifles: Corporol D. G. Beaumont, Reported by Ottoman Red Crescent Society as prisoner of war in Turkey.—" Wellington Battalion (captured Aug. 9,) i Private X. Steele. Now reported " wounded.—Auckland Mounted Rifles: Private ¥. A, Thomas.
