BENZINE EXPLOSION.
FIRE ON AN ISLAND TRADE*. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Ni?ht. An explosion of beiwine aboard Mia ketch Kerem injured two Nuie Islanders and started a Arc which will probably result in the total loss of the ship. The fire is still (10.30 p.m.) burning furiously. The Kercru trades • regularly to Nuie Island. She had on board a cargo of 3000 cases of benzine, consigned to Oi*borne and Napier, which was valued at £2300. The vessel is insured In the South British office- for £OOO.
