DOMINION EXPORTS.

BIG INCREASE FROM TARANAKI. Returns published in the latest Gazette show the comparative value of exports from New Zealand during the years 1915 and 1914. During 1915 the value was £31,745,012 (including £318,000 specie exported), as compared with £20,2111,147 (including £7522 specie) in 1914. The exports fi'Qm the three Taranaki ports were:— 1915 1914 "~ ' £ £ .New Plymouth ..,, 880,101 334,591 Waitara 562,190 389,684 Patea 1,'209,657 439,776 Totals 2,658,038 1,164,051 The above figures do not include the produce trained to Wellington and the sheep and cattle bought in Taranaki by outside firms. With these included, Taranaki's products would be worth well over £3,000,000. This is a marvellous performance for a province with under 00,000 people. The figures for 1914 are incomplete owin gto a portion of Taranaki's produce being credited to Wellington instead of to Taranaki.
