A YOUTH SHOT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wainwte, Jan. 22. A shooting fatality occurred at Willowbridge, near Waimate, on Saturday afternoon, when Arthur Henry Woodhead. Government Insurance agent, was sliot through the face while handling a gun at Clark's farm. Deceased was by himself when the accident happened, anil the body was found by a boy. SUICIDE IX .POLICE CELLS. Marion, Jan. 21. John Harris, who was arrested for alleged arson at Marton Junction, strangled himself in a cell at Marton during last night. Deceased tore a strip from his blanket, and hitching it on to a bolt outside his eell door thus strangled himself. An inquest is to be held.
