REPRISALS. A COXGEXIAL TOPIC. London, Jan. .11. Tn the Reichstag, Herr Zimmerniann, on behalf of the Government, thanked the Reichstag and the nation for its unanimous expression of horror at ttic Baralong incident, and assured members that Hie Government would find the right way and means to punish sharply and emphatically the horrible English deed. The Socialist Ledebour pointed out that reprisals were, double-edged weapons, and hoped that the Government would not go beyond the limits to sunmarine activity fixed after the Lusitania incident, adhering to its promise not to torpedo vessels without warning. A section of the Socialists applauded this view. The press enthusiastically endorses the Gpyj£B»yit wginwo gf reprisals.
