THE MISSING.
DIFFICULTIES OF TRACING THEM. Received Jan. 20, ,9.5 p.m. London, Jan. 19. In the House of Commons a question was asked as to whether there was any .hope of tracing the large numbers of officers and men who were reported missing at Gallipoli. Lord Cecil replied that the Foreign Office found great difficulty in doing ■this, owing to the character of the Turkish administration, but they >vere constantly communicating with the American Ambassador at Constantinople.
