WAITARA.
(From Our Own Correspondent), The s.s. Paparoa left Oamaru on Monday for Waitara, and is expected in the roadstead to-day (Wednesday). Besides taking in a quantity of frozen meat and tallow, she will lift'233s bales of wool. The following enlistments have -been received by Mr. Kempsall, recruiting officer: —Army Service Corps: W. D, Fulton, Brixton; Mounted: L. Bell, J. Hammond, J. Soffe, J. Poirv, H. A. Bower, L. H. Coleman (Waitara). W. MiCaul (Sentry Hill); Infantry: J. P. Hurly (Tongaporutu), IT. Johanscn, I. Neustroski, J. Neustroski, 'P. Neustroski, W. J, Lenard (Waitara), R. A. Morgan (Moka'u); Enfiineers: J. L. Smaill (Waitara), A. W. Hutchina (Uruti).
