THE EMPIRE. In tlie new programme at tlie Empire Theatre to-night, tlie feature film is a 5000 ft story of London life, entitled "The Hcart'of a Child," produced by tlie London Film Company, justly famous for the merit of their productions, with Edna Ehjgarth,. the Mary tfiekford of England, and Edward Sass, tlie eminent actor, in the leading roles. The story is taken from Frank Danby's charming h ul of tlie same name. Many remark.iflble phases of London life are shown, Kjul the play is said to be strong, without being morbid. Included in the prograitune will be a, fine scenic of timely and hfetoric value, 'The Cathedral of Kheiras"; a clever and tense drama, "A W<W»an of Nerve," by tlie Reliance Company of America; t[ie latest Gazette, and a bright comedy will also be shown.
. THEATRE ROYAL PICTURE!?. The Theatre Royal lias made for itself a reputation for the superior quality of the Alms screened there, and the "star" of last night, ''The Conspiracy,'' was a worthy siiecesmr to -the, fine pictures that have heed produced. "The Conspiracy," n Famous Players film, is full of sensations and aflveuiures. [/-, deals with an author, a stenographer, a reporter, and a iband of white ejavers known as the "Scarlet Rand."
