The evidence showed that deceased was tatfering from dysentery, but the case w«» not a bad one. The patient was cheery and gave no evidence of mental trouble. The razor was in a lockor at his' bedside, where hospital authorities said it was customary to keep toilet articles. , The Coroner, Hir. J. R, Bartholomew, S.M., said that he could not qualify the verdict found that deceased had committed suicide by cutting his throat, and recommended that the hospital authorities take into question the matter o» removing dangerous articles from th,' bedsides of patients, thereby rcmoviir temptation.
