LABOR DEMANDS. WARNING TO DISLOYALISTS. Sydney, Jan. 10. It is stated that the big scheme for the manufacture of munitions in the railway workshops has lioen dropped owing to the men refusing to accept less than time and half payment for the necessary overtime. Melbourne, Jan. 10. Mr. Hughes warned disloyalists tTiat anything done to prejudice recruiting would be visited with condign punishment. He referred to the resolutions passed by various bodies advising people not to fill in the recruiting- cards as a most ill-advised proceeding. He believed those voting for such measures were misled by specious misrepresentations of the Government's scheme as to conscription, which was utterly misleading, the scheme differing from conscription as night differs from day. The Federal Treasurer is appealing to everyone receiving over £3OO a year to subscribe to the second Co'iimonweaJt'AYar Loan. ... . .
