LOSS OF THE PERSIA. WSD MONTAGUE'S EXPERIENCE. Received Jan. 6, 5.5 p.m. London, Jan. 5. Lord John Montague cables that he Bad a marvellous escape. He clung to a broken boat for thirty-two hours, and was rescued late on Friday night by a •JflHoa fc» one chance. Nineteen were anta at sunset on Thursday and eleven were alive on Friday. The Persia's offleen and crew did all that was possible.
