SUCCESSFUL FRENCH OPERATIONS. Paris, January 1. Official.—Our bombardment of the enemy trenches at Bolsinghe was successful. North of the Aisne we demolished a German work. The Meuse heights were the scene of active cannonading against blockhouses. In the Vosges there was a violent infantry attack, to which we successfully replied, while near Dixmude the Belgian artillery are active. On the Dardanelles front heavy artillery violently . bombarded the Asiatic side of the Straits, damaging enemy gams and destroying an ammunition depot.
