SOLDIER'S BODY FOUND. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Jan. 3. The decomposed body of a soldier was found floating off Miramar wharf today. In one pocket was a camp pass bearing the name of "Pt. T. Patterson, N.Z. Rifles." SUICIDE AT TRENTHAM. Wellington, Jan. 3. Private William Dixon, 9th Reinforcements, aged 35, who came from Dunedin, committed suicide at Trentham Hospital yesterday. He was admitted a few days ago in an apoplectic fit. While his attendant was getting tea for him he hanged himself. An inquest was held, and the coroner returned a verdict of suicide while temporarily insane, no blame being attachable to anyone.
