SILVER BANT), _ The Auckland Silver Band, which arrives here to-raorrow morning, comes to Iscw Plymouth with u splendid reputation. ihe band comprises some thirty musicians, -who give their services without Remuneration, and in addition they provide their own uniforms and subscribe towards the purchase of their music, composed and arranged by Array wusiclana, 'lhe members are hard-working W(!H, who willingly give their spare time to help in the gqpt] work, "Jfyr some years they have visited the various benevolent institutions, ajid have earned the appreciation of the jnuiatea. To-, moirow afternoon they will render a short programme in flevtm Street, and »l the evening they will also render a special _ programme. The patriotic eoncert will be held on New liar's night in the Good Templar Hall. w]\en a firstclass vocal ami insii'umental programme will be rendered. On Sunday afternoon tile band will play in the Recreation Ground. Adjutant Home has decided that the whole proceeds, less expenses of the New Plymouth visit, will be devoted to the Serbian Relief Fund.
