The hospital ship Malieno is expected to reach Auckland on Saturday morning next. She will come down the coast, discharging the remainder of her complement at Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers. At Fort Ohalmers the will go into dock prior to being recommisatoaed. "Blue and White," the Magailne o! St. Patrick's College, Wellington, for this year is a creditable production, both from a typographical and literary standpoint. The literary part induce* an article by Hilaire BeUoc, and an. interesting contribution on "Tile Evolution of l&cplosives," by the Rev. J. Oullen. The roll of honor contain* a lift of 200 ex-fetudcuta of the college, and a full-page photogravure of LieutenantColonel Malonc and his four «old!er aons is shown, is well as photographs of a number of other ex-atudenta, killed and udJEbiidflfr'
