DAIRY PRODUCE.
LARGE SHIPMENT BY THE ORARI. Another large shipment of dairy produce was taken by the Home liner Orari, which sailed for Avonmouth and London, via ports, from Wellington last week. The figures were as follow:
The total value of the shipment was as follows:—Butter, £172,324; cheese, £162,852 Though substantial, the figures for butter do not equal those of the Rimutaka, which steamer took butter to the value of £201,358. As regards cheese, however, the Orari's consignment stands as a record.
