TURKISH LOSSES. IN THE "RECENT BATTLE. Received Dec. 17, B.go p.m. London, Dee. 17. General Townsend reports: "According to Arab reports the Turks lost two thousand men in the attack on the evening of Dec. 12." General Townsend is unable to confirm this, but he estimates that the Turks lost one thousand. They have not renewed the attacks since.
