The military expert of Le Temps says that news has been received from Holland that Germany is preparing for a general attack on the French front. While the information must be accepted with reserve, it is not improbable, as Germany is said to be making formidable preparations. New army corps and munitions are constantly arriving, indicating that Germany will attempt, to inflict such a defeat as will end the war. The concentration is explained by the fact that operations have been suspended on the Russian front. We must be on our guard, hut are in a position to inflict a decisive defeat if an attack is made.
