THE UNITY CAMPAIGN.
addiress AT NEW PLYMOUTH. An address on the "Unity Platform" was delivered by Mr. H. C. Robinson, of Maaterton, at an open-air meeting at New Plymouth last night. There was a small attendance. Mr. Robinson's remarks were on the lines of addresses elsewhere, and at the conclusion the following resolution, moved by Mr. F. \V. Sandford and seconded by Mr. J. Crone, was carried: "That New Zealand should set an example of unity to the Empire by organising to the full the capital and man-power for the war, and requests Parliament to be called together for that purpose, and undertakes to absolutely suport the National Government in whatever steps they decide to take towards victory." Before dispersing, tho gatnering sang the National Anthem. Subsequently Mr. Robinson met a gathering of New Plymouth solicitors, who passed a similar resolution.
