FAITH IN FINAL VICTORY. CARDINAL BOURNE INTERVIEWED. Rome, Dec. 12. The Corritere d'ltalia publishes an interview with Cardinal Bourne, who said that he held steadfastly to faith in the Allies' final victory. Germany had succeeded in bringing about a closer union of the British .Empire. England and Ireland had acted like two sisters who had quarrelled, but when threatened by an outsider had immediately turned against the latter.
