AMUSEMENTS.
THE EMPIRE. The Empire Theatre management, is screening to-night a two-part Kalem drama entitled "Her Husband's Honor," being the story of a wife who assisted her father to smuggle diamonds from Paris into the United States of America. The drama is very well produced, and Kalem's artists make the most of the numerous dramatic situations. Maurice Costello is featured in Vitagraph's romance of the stage. "Tile Understudy." Other films are "Just Retribution" (Lubin drama), "Chicago Excursion Disater" (Topical), "Some Romance" (Kalem comedy), "Those Bitter Sweets" (Keystone comedy), and the latest Ails-, tralian Gazette. ROYAL PICTURES. Saturday's programme features Edison's 300 ft. star drama, ,"A Deadly Hate," a story of twin brothers starring Marc MacDcrmott. Films on the supporting programme include "Her Choice," "The Fatal Mate" (I,Ko comedy), "On the Banks of the Llobrcgat" (scenic), and the latest Oazette and Cartoons.
