Dalton, of the Board of Trade, will succeed Mr. W'ickham as British Trade Commissioner. The tlawera Star understands that Mr H. T. Lovell, of Hawera, will proceed to England shortly with a view to enlisting for service with the Knglish army. The Btv. R. Welsh has resigned his charge of the Opunake Presbyterian Church. Mr. Welsh will be leaving Opunake about next Apri'.
