RIOTOUS SOLDIERS. SCENES AT LIVERPOOL CAMP. Received Nov. 30, 9 p.m. Sydney, Nov. 30. Twenty-one of the soldiers who participated in the Manly disturbance on November 22 have been committed for trial on charges of riotously and tumultously assembling to the disturbance of the public peace. Bail was allowed in sureties of one hundred pounds each. It is officially notified that 23 were injured in the disturbance at Liverpool Camp on November 26, the majority slightly. Seven were in hospital, but all have returned to duty except two. Received Nov. 30, 10.40 p.m. Sydnpy, Nov. 30. There haß been another .disturbance at the Liverpool Camp. A big body of soldiers invaded the town, smashed the windows of a Greek restaurant and three hotels and paraded the town during the uight. They returned to the camp at daylight. The riot was apparently \the outcome of local grievances. Few police were available and the advice of the moderates among tile men was not heeded.
FALLEN POLITICIANS. A TABLET UNVEILED. Received Nov. 30, 10.40 p.m. Sydney, Nov. 30. There was an impressive ceremony in tin' Legislative Assembly Chamber to-day, when the Speaker unveiled a. handsome bronze tablet to the late members, Messrs Larkin and Braund, who were killed at Gallipoli. Eulogistic speeches were made and the House adjourned as a mark of respect. THE AVIATION CORPS. Melbourne, Nov. 30. It is understood that the Aviation Corps is going to the new army, GERMAjf TRADE. Sydney, Nov. 30. Mr. Hughes, in a speech at the meeting of the Journalists' Institute, said the Hernial! domination of trade was a grave insult on Australian national •pride and a serious reflection on local enterprise. Through the tariff and suitable legislation the Government intended to assist the country to economise her resources and wisely direct her expenditure. IJ was proposed to organise industry and create machinery whereby science, by research, might develop manufactures, create new industries and iacreass their productivity.
