In the Assembly the Hotel Legislation Bill has been introduced to carry out readjustments and six o'clock closing. It substitutes a Licensing Court of three members in place of licensing benches, and the penalty for sly grog-selling is increased. MELBOURNE BURGLAR CASE. Melbourne, Nov.. 27. Jackson, one of the three accused in the McGrath shooting case, has been sentenced to death. Buckley and Ward have been ordered to undergo a second trial. [Constable McGrath was shot by burglars who wen; robbing the safe at the Trades Hall on October I.]
