Hill de> scribes the scene at the eamp where the Australian and New Zealand wounded air quartered. Though many arc crip* pled or maimed and a few blind, thoy are wonderfully cheerful. One would expect them to have a crabbed outlook . on life, but the thought of home buoys them all up. If the people of New Zea- i land could only nee how hplendidly the men behaved in the treudies under firej on the hospital ships, on leave in Lww don, and in camp there would be ■ no doubt in their minds as to the treatment they deserved.
